Who's got the time to wash their hair every day? I know I certainly don’t! 🫧
 
This shampoo leaves my hair feeling naturally clean and fresh! And I’ve also noticed that it tends to brighten my natural color on the days I use it. Unexpected bonus!
 
I’ll admit, I washed my hair daily for most of my life! I thought I needed to wash it everyday, not realizing I was stripping it of its natural process to generate oils. I also always believed that I just had dry, brittle hair, not understanding that by cleaning it too often I may have increased the dryness, making it more fragile and susceptible to breakage-YIKES! 😬
 
That’s when my dry shampoo journey began. While I knew I couldn’t wash my hair every day anymore, I also didn’t want my head to look like I had just dipped it in a barrel of canola oil! Which it would! Quickly! I also knew I didn’t want to use commercial products, I was too far into my own home-based product creations at this point. This allowed me to skip the store-bought brands altogether and create my own from the start. And it’s been fun! I feel my artistic nature coming through mixing and creating all of these wonderful colors and shades!
 
So why should you purchase a natural dry shampoo instead of just running to the market? Well, simply put, what we put ON our bodies is just as important as what we put in them! And yes, that includes our hair and scalp too! Commercial dry shampoos have been known to contain certain products which may be harmful to your gorgeous locks.These homemade dry shampoos are made from scratch in my own kitchen, using responsibly sourced products.
 
**Dark Brown = Arrowroot + Cocoa Powder + Cinnamon + Activated Charcoal
 
This natural dry shampoo comes in 7 different shades to accommodate most hair colors:
 
**Grey & Silver = Arrowroot + Bentonite Clay
**Light Blonde & Fantasy Colors = Arrowroot + Cinnamon + Bentonite Clay
**Strawberry Blonde & Red = Arrowroot + Cinnamon + Paprika
**Dark Blonde & Light/Medium Brown = Arrowroot + Cocoa Powder + Cinnamon
**Auburn = Arrowroot + Cocoa Powder + Cinnamon + Paprika + Activated Charcoal
**Black = Arrowroot + Cocoa Powder + Activated Charcoal
 
**To apply, I typically use a makeup brush to dust the powder on my hair.**
